It’s good practice to regularly change your account password, particularly so if you’ve had recent staff changes or allowed login details to be known to other staff members whilst you’ve been on holiday etc.
It only takes a moment to update.
Firstly, login to your Customer Admin Area and from the navigation options on the left choose ‘Tools’.
Select ‘Change password’ – you’ll be asked to enter your present password and then your new password followed by a repeat of your new password to confirm. Click ‘Submit’ to complete the update.
Remember, your password should be between 6 and 20 characters using A-Z, 0-9. They’re not case sensitive.

Last week, a homeowner left a particular feedback about a Solar Panel Installer. In it, he thought that the company had tried to miss-lead him by referring to the Renewable Heat Incentives scheme – a scheme that he (the homeowner) knew to be cancelled / scrapped.
Just to keep everyone up to date – installers and homeowners alike – here’s the latest (as of 22nd July 2010) on the Renewable Heat Incentives scheme’s future.
Certainly not cancelled yet but as you’ll read, under review as to how best it can be implemented.
Click here to read the latest RHI scheme news.
Any Solar Panel installers that would like to point worried homeowners to the article – please feel free.
(any reproduction on your own website, blog or other medium should be accredited with a link to the article on Solar Panel Quoter blog – thank you.)

or call us on 01332 267694 for more details
Companies that are live receive FREE leads we call ‘Bonus Leads’. These leads are usually smaller value jobs that a homeowner has requested whilst discussing their home improvement with one of our customer advisors.
They’re still qualified and passed to your delivery area exactly the same as our regular sales leads, based on the products and areas you’ve already selected.
If you’re not live, login to your Customer Admin Area now and switch your account live. The next FREE lead could be on its way to you.

Our resident web guru has some thoughts on why you should follow businesses on twitter…
There’s been lots written about why, as a business you should be using Twitter or as an individual, you should be using Twitter, to communicate with a growing circle of like-minded ‘Tweeps’ / attract new business etc.
The world is shrinking faster than we realise.
But there’s not a lot to suggest why you should follow someone or a particular business or brand.
Here’s my take on why you should make the small effort to follow your favourite brands or individuals.
1 – The opportunity to converse directly with them.
2 – The opportunity to hear the latest news first.
3 – The opportunity to ‘bag a bargain’.
4 – The opportunity to see the ‘real’ them.
*Note to companies: Keep your twitter feed clean or issue acceptable content guidelines if it’s a joint account. I do see examples of bad language which just get a swift ‘un-follow’ for their trouble.
5 – The opportunity to learn something.
6 – The opportunity of a shared experience.
7 – The opportunity to re-tweet.
8 – The opportunity to be helpful.
I’ve just rattled this list out off the top of my head – I’m sure there are many more reasons why you should or would want to follow a particular brand or company.
What’s your experience? Have you found Twitter helped you as a customer or a company? Are you missing an opportunity?

If your installation teams or salespeople have fitted those little England flags to their vehicles, then you need to read this:
http://solarpanelquoter.blogspot.com/2010/06/england-flags-on-cars-affect-mpg-by-3.html
They could be affecting the MPG by as much as 6 miles per gallon – per flag!
